Family Bible Study

Until Sunday schools became popular, the family Bible study was a staple in Christian homes. More than a few Christian parents who took seriously their God-given duty and privilege to teach the Bible to their children even objected to the creation of Sunday school programs at their church as infringing on and potentially weakening the importance of the family Bible study.

Parents are strongly encouraged to start and lead a family Bible study for their children. The greatest education you can give your children isn't a college degree but a firm grounding in the Word of God and the ability to read and study the Bible on their own.

You don't know what to teach them? This website provides the material, and preparing to teach will draw you closer to Jesus. You don't have the time or the energy to prepare a family Bible study? The email below was received from a father who is blind (also read emails from youth Bible study, couple's Bible study, women's Bible study, seniors Bible study, ESL Bible study and prison Bible study).

“Hi, I just came across your Bible Study in the book of John. I love it, it's a great study for me and my teenagers! I am totally blind and your web site is very easy for me to use with a screen reader. However, I am going to your site, one page at a time, copying the text and then printing it to BRAILLE. It takes a wile to do this. Is there any way to get the full text of this study without having to cut and paste one page at a time. Is it a file that can be E-mailed??? Your help is greatly appreciated. Again, I really enjoy the study and will most likely do the other ones you have on the site. THANK YOU for this great resource.” - Frank M. Hernandez
