How many "disciples" (Acts 19:1) did Paul find?

What did they know, and who didn't they know?

From whom had they learned?

What does that imply about Paul's previous visit to Ephesus and Apollos' stay in Ephesus?

Why were the new disciples baptized a second time?


Acts 19:6-7 Bible Study Questions

With what sort of "tongues" did they begin speaking when "the Holy Spirit came upon them" (Acts 19:6)?

Can the latter type be spoken in public?

What about church services where more than three people are speaking in tongues and there is no interpretation (see 1 Corinthians 14:23)?

Doesn't 1 Corinthians 13:8-10 state the gift of speaking in tongues will cease when the Bible is completed?

Does "that which is perfect has come" refer to the completion of the Bible or to the second coming of Jesus?

Does a Christian see the Bible "face to face," or will a Christian see Jesus "face to face" upon His return?

What was the temple Diana/Artemis like?

Why was Demetrius upset with "Paul" (Acts 19:26)?

Weren't they more upset about their goddess being disrespected?
